Corporate Responsibility

Sehlke Consulting believes in adding value back into the community. We have done this through donations of time and money to groups that address issues that have closely impacted us. Sehlke Consulting is pleased to support the community through the following organizations:

Boulder Crest Retreat

Boulder Crest logoBoulder Crest Retreat for Military and Veteran Wellness is a rural sanctuary that provides free accommodations, recreational and therapeutic activities and programs to help our nation’s military and veteran personnel and their families recover and reconnect during their long journey of healing from physical and invisible wounds of war. The 37-acre retreat is located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Bluemont, Virginia, just 50 miles west of Washington, D.C. The Retreat is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and is entirely funded through private donations from individuals, foundations and corporations. A large percent of Sehlke Consulting’s employees have previously served in the military, so helping combat veterans is a goal that hits close to home. We were proud to be able to support a group with such a great goals and plan to continue or support in the future.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS)

LLS exists to find cures and ensure access to treatments for blood cancer patients. Most people know at least one person who has been effected by a cancer that LLS is combating. Sehlke participates in the annual Light The Night event to help raise money for LLS.

GovCon – George Mason University

Mason GovCon is building a distinctive competency in the Business of Government and Government Contracting at Mason’s School of Business. The GovCon market is a huge ($500B+), diverse, sophisticated, and interesting industry whose business issues are worthy of specialized academic study, research, and curricula. GovCon is working to help fill the education gap that exists and is a mission that Sehlke’s CEO is proud to assist in by serving on the Board of Advisors and Research Council.
