Chad Sehlke,  Founder and CEO

Chad SehlkeMr. Sehlke established Sehlke Consulting in 2011 to provide “Precision Inspired Financial Management”. The company has grown to now provide “Precision Inspired Performance” as it has expanded outside of a singular Financial Management service line and into Acquisition Management, Logistics Management, Program Management, and IT/Systems Services. As CEO, he leads all operations and activities around planning and executing the firm’s long-term growth strategy and vision. He is responsible for directing corporate strategies to grow and improve the company worldwide while ensuring alignment with the firm’s commitment to deliver unparalleled client service and workplace excellence.

Mr. Sehlke drives the company’s commitment to: 1) Continue to drive true government innovation by always putting the interests of the government taxpayers above corporate profits and government politics. 2) Ensure employees’ and clients’ needs are always achieved by investing in training and infrastructure necessary to provide big business level quality while minimizing “red tape”. 3) Maintain low overhead in order to ensure they can continue to secure top industry experts via generous compensation packages while maintaining an aggressive competitive pricing approach. Under his direction, Sehlke Consulting has doubled in size and revenue year over year since 2011, while increasing annual profits.

Prior to forming Sehlke Consulting, Mr. Sehlke served in the U.S. Marine Corps as a Financial Management Resource Analyst and brings over 14 years of federal experience. He earned his B.S. in Management from Park University and MBA from Rockhurst University while on Active Duty. He is an effective leader with proven capabilities in project management, FIAR compliance, FMFIA and A-123 internal controls, internal audits, audit support, regulation compliance standards, business process improvement, cost benefit analysis, financial/system analysis and implementing corrective actions.

Ed Rinkavage,  President

ed-rinkavage_8x10Mr. Rinkavage brings nearly 40 years of experience in the Defense, Civilian, Intelligence and Homeland Security sectors, ranging from operations, and acquisition management to business development and high-level strategic planning. In his role as Sehlke’s Chief Operating Officer, his focus is on strategic operations and business development, as well as developing new client relationships.  Ed’s experience includes the federal contracting industry as a corporate executive and within the Department of Defense as a contracting officer, squadron commander and IG contracting inspector. Ed has authored several articles for national publication on acquisition reform, presented applicable concepts on the acquisition workforce, and change management and briefed senior procurement executives on these initiatives. He also has a proven and highly successful track record managing large-scale overseas specialized services worth over $1 Billion while advising senior military leaders in Europe on acquisition strategies. Ed led Air Force and multi-national contracting in the Balkans including programs in Croatia, Hungary, Serbia, and Bosnia as well as the Middle East including Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates. Ed is a member of the Defense Acquisition University (DAU) Alumni Association, Professional Services Council (PSC), Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA), past president of NCMA Tysons Corner Chapter, is an NCMA Fellow, and is on the NCMA Executive Advisory Committee.

Gary Turner,  Chief Operating Officer (COO)


Mr. Turner has over 24 years of Department of Defense (DoD) Financial Management experience. He is a subject matter professional in United States Marine Corps (USMC) financial management and business processes. His proficiency includes A-123 internal controls, internal audits, accounting, budgeting, guidance/policy, direct/reimbursable, trend and root cause analysis, reporting, appropriation law, Resource Evaluation & Analysis (RE&A), identifying discrepancies, and abnormal balances. An accomplished leader with strong communication skills and a proven track record in conducting thorough financial data analysis, implementing process improvements, and reducing financial waste and lost opportunities. As the Director of the USMC & Navy Sectors for Sehlke Consulting, Mr. Turner provides a wealth of Program and Financial Management knowledge to our Stateside and Overseas clients. He is also responsible for team management, client satisfaction, and business development.

Angela Dickerson,  Vice President,  Accounting and Finance

20160822_angeladickerson_38aMs. Dickerson leads the finance and accounting endeavors at Sehlke Consulting. She has more than 23 years of progressively responsible experience directing as many as 100 people with revenues in excess of $24 million. With a strong knowledge and background in administering accounting systems, Angela has overseen and participated in more than half a dozen full accounting system conversions for which she has received accolades. 19 years of her career have been spent supporting the Federal government. Among her significant previous positions, she served as the CFO of a small business government contracting firm for 8 consecutive years where she held fiduciary responsibility for over $5 million and was in control of the finance, accounting, travel, human resources and contracts departments. She was also the Controller for another small business government contracting firm and an Accounting Director for an international corporate travel firm. She is well versed in the Federal Acquisition Regulation as well as Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and has successfully navigated through multiple SAS-70 and DCAA Incurred Cost Audits.

Peter Hart,  Director,  Human Capital

_mg_0508-pete-2Mr. Hart joined the Sehlke Team in 2014 after 22 years as an officer with the United States Marine Corps (USMC), where he was responsible for the supervision and management of personnel at multiple levels. While on Active Duty with the USMC, and subsequently with the Federal civil service and the private sector, he was continuously responsible for cultivating the skills and knowledge of personnel with the goal of broadening their experience and increasing their personal growth and value to the organization. His approach to personnel investment includes education, training and enhanced benefits that lead to improved work quality and levels of production. He has grown leaders, improved competencies, reinforced accountability through performance reviews, and prepared our workforce for future needs. His strategy supports hiring the best talent, developing our employees, and optimizing performance with emphasis on employee engagement, workplace improvement, and workforce flexibilities. He also has an exceptional track record as a Financial Management Officer in the USMC with the planning, budgeting, and execution of Department of Defense (DoD) funds. Mr. Hart currently provides audit support expertise to the United States Army’s General Fund Audit Readiness effort.

Bianca Kennedy,  Director,  Human Resources

Her well-rounded experience brings over 20 years of organizational experience, with 15+ years recruiting, staffing, and employment experience in government, corporate, and finance sectors. Ms. Kennedy is a natural communicator, recognized for her energy and ability to gain stakeholder buy-in, facilitate organizational flow between various corporate departments, and achieve desired outcomes within organizations across the Intelligence Agencies and Defense zones regions.

Ms. Kennedy is a trusted and skilled leader who has supported strategic goals while protecting employee, corporate and federal organizational interests. At Sehlke, she manages all aspects of HR Operations to include: recruiting, staffing, employment relation processes, oversight and input to company HR policies and procedures, benefit plan analysis and negotiations, 401(k) plan administration, initiation of employee relations programs and employee retention measures. She has a proven track record of providing full life cycle staffing strategies and HR campaigns that attract and retain high caliber professionals who share the common goal to serve, defend, and safeguard our Nation.

Anh Nguyen, Director, Strategic Growth Operations


Ms. Nguyen leads the Strategic Growth Operations which comprises marketing, business development, capture and proposal support services for Sehlke Consulting. Leveraging her 16 years of experience helping industry leaders win significant new business and retain existing contracts, Ms. Nguyen collaborates with the Sehlke team to achieve growth goals and further expand Sehlke’s value in the Federal market. Prior to joining Sehlke Consulting, Ms. Nguyen established and optimized growth operations for large, mid and small-size companies.
